The Limerick Park Homeowners Association Budget Ratification meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 5:30 pm. Due to the Pandemic and the Governor’s restrictions on gatherings, this year’s meeting will be held in an electronic format and conducted by a Zoom call.
The only business on the agenda is the ratification of the 2021 budget. The membership meeting and election will be held separately.
There is no increase in assessments proposed for 2021. The budget ratification process is outlined under WUCIOA, WA State RCW 64.90.525; “Unless at that meeting the unit owners of units to which a majority of the votes in the association are allocated or any larger percentage specified in the declaration reject the budget, the budget and the assessments against the units included in the budget are ratified, whether or not a quorum is present.”
The Limerick Park CC&Rs, Article 8, Section 1, states, “The budget and assessment shall be ratified unless disapproved at a meeting by the members representing at least 75% of the total Class A votes in the Association and by the Class B member, if such exists.”
Per the RCW and Limerick Park CC&Rs, the 2021 Proposed Budget will be ratified unless 75% (90 lots) reject the budget. Please let me know if you have any questions.
